Maurer Real Estate has a thriving business, enjoys a brand new office building, and leases space to two other firms. They also have great new office furniture from Room2Work.
Like most successful business owners, Susan Maurer likes to be organized. "I'm the type of individual who likes things to be coordinated. That's a major reason I like our new furniture -it not only looks good, it all works together."
Room2Work helped design all office, reception and conference room interiors for all three floors of the new building, then built and installed the furniture. Despite brand new construction, Maurer needed several furniture specials, including a custom conference table, special worksurface shapes -even furniture made to fit around a few obtrusive heating ducts.
Agents for the real estate company share workspaces and use handy mobile tables to meet individually with clients, yet still easily access their computers, files, and other necessary materials. The combination of work efficiency and great aesthetics closed the deal for employees. "They love it," says Maurer.
The two other building tenants -an insurance firm and a residential contractor- are independent businesses, but often work with the real estate firm. So even though they're on different floors, the integrated design, furniture, and function add to smooth operation of the businesses, and the image the customer receives. "Everyone who comes into the office comments on the furniture," says Maurer. "It makes a great impression on clients."
Now comfortably moved in and operating smoothly, Maurer feels right at home with Room2Work. "We're very happy."
