State Farm Agency in Good Hands
Company Name:
Bob Hayes State Farm Insurance
Location:
It simply seemed like a good idea to Stephenie Nelson. Her insurance firm needed some new furniture, so she'd check out an office "superstore".
But the office manager for the Bob Hayes State Farm Insurance Agency soon had a better idea –and a much simpler solution: Room2Work.
"It was just so much easier," she says. "Room2Work came in, measured everything, listened to what we needed. They showed us samples, made suggestions. Then they installed everything –and fast. It was wonderful."
Office 425 casegoods have replaced the firm's old steel desks and files. Each L-configuration workstation features Office 425's sturdy 1 1/4" top, a high pressure laminate worksurface, and file drawers with full extension ball bearing glides. A quarter-round bookcase and storage tower with lateral file provide room for files and supplies. Niles task chairs and Bravo guest chairs complete the office.
"The furniture's beautiful, and we get a ton of compliments on it."
Room2Work made adjustments in the workstations to accommodate a slight slope to the agency's office floor, a common occurrence in older buildings. The agency also needed worksurfaces in a special sizes, and got them on standard lead times, a common occurrence for Room2Work.
"The key for us was how easy it was. The old furniture and carpeting was removed, the office was painted, and Room2Work furniture installed. We only had one day of downtime –that was important to us.
"The interesting thing is, the prices for Room2Work and the office "superstore" furniture were very comparable. But Room2Work offered some ideas, accommodated the crooked floor, and installed everything.
"We didn't have the hassle of trying to do all of that ourselves. It was just so easy."
